LOOKING FOR YOUR HOT NEW RIDE? YOU'VE COME TO THE RIGHT PLACE.
OUR STORY
George Lyons was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania, and has spent his entire life immersed in the automobile world. His passion for cars began early—working part-time at Dailey’s Chevrolet at just 14 years old, followed by hands-on experience in auto body work at Christians Auto Body. From these beginnings, George built a lifelong career centered around his love for classic and specialty cars.

In 1975, George opened his first business, Special Interest Cars Inc., which operated for nearly two decades in Erie as both a body shop and used car dealership. His entrepreneurial spirit led him to purchase GT Motorcar in 1993, bringing Mercedes-Benz and Saab to the Erie community. In 2000, he expanded again by acquiring Roth Cadillac-Audi, further establishing himself as a trusted name in the region’s automotive industry.

Beyond sales, George has personally restored nationally recognized classic cars and served as a judge at major shows and venues across the country. He is a licensed State Automobile Appraiser, has taught appraisal classes at Erie Insurance, and continues to buy and sell classic cars worldwide. His expertise and reputation extend well beyond Erie, with a personal collection that reflects both his skill and passion.

George is also an active member of the community. He currently serves on the boards of the Erie County Auto Dealer Association and the Erie Historical Society/Hagen History Center, and previously spent 12 years on the board of the Erie Western PA Port Authority. He is a charter member of the GECAC Charter School and has long been committed to supporting education, history, and local development.

When he’s not working with clients or attending to his collection, George manages local commercial real estate, remains active in the automotive community. With over five decades of experience, George Lyons continues to combine knowledge, craftsmanship, and a deep passion for automobiles—offering clients around the world a trusted resource for buying, selling, and appraising classic cars.
